'A Fine Bright Day Today': Scene 3 Film

'A Fine Bright Day Today': film created for theatre play (Sc3)

Shropshire-based theatre group, BrOADS, commissioned Wild Edric to create three short films for a theatre play, 'A Fine Bright Day Today', written by Philip Goulding.  The director decided that rather than try and create three of the outdoor scenes on stage, it would be more unusual to shoot these three scenes as short films, and show them as part of the live theatre production.

Because each exterior scene takes place at the coast, we shot on location at a VERY blustery Borth, on the Welsh coast...

Synopsis:
The play is written around 3 characters, Margaret, a widower; Milton, an American pursuing his painter hero Bowden Broome; and Margaret's daughter Rebecca.  It charts the slow development of the relationship between Milton and Margaret, against the confused feelings of Rebecca.

This scene, towards the end of the play, sees Margaret battling with the realisation that things have developed in their relationship...
